Dr. Irene O'Brien Tel: 604.590.2121 Dr. O’Brien completed three years of undergraduate biology at the University of Victoria before going on to graduate with distinction from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. Irene has been with our Scottsdale team since graduation and enjoys the challenges of small animal medicine and surgery. Her desire to help clients raise happy, well adjusted puppies has led to the development of the puppy socialization classes which are held on an ongoing basis. Irene serves on the Veterinary Advisory Board with B.C. Guide Dog Services and enjoys volunteering her time looking after the puppies in training as well as the breeding parents. Dr O'Brien does some recreational level Agility with her Basenji cross Rodney and enjoys spending time at home with her dogs Sadie and Rodney, her husband Daniel, and her new cats Gaius and Eragon.
